I was surprised to meet very young small companies from south and west India, involved in very new and latest technology product – the electric vehicle, two-wheeler to be precise. Without any support from the government either on the policy front, or with any subsidy, these companies represent the changing face of India. As Dr. Mashelkar has said in his speech (mentioned in one of the news-items attached along with), that we need to promote “Innovative India”.
