starts manufacturing turbochargers in India
Pune, Nov 15
The shift in the Indian passenger car and SUV markets towards diesel
engines has propelled prospects for turbochargers manufacturers.
The $26 billion Honeywell Group is looking at picking up a significant
share of this market and has started manufacturing new generation
turbochargers at its unit in Hinjewadi, Pune. Tata Motors will be
its first customer in India for these engine boosters.

that it will roll out its first Made-in-India mobile phone in the
local market by December. However, the US-based telecom giant stopped

from a global vendor who will manufacture the product locally.
