Indo-US Research and Philanthropy Program

Indo-US Research and Philanthropy Program is structured to build and expand the scope of Indo-U.S Science and Technology relationship as envisioned in the various summit level intergovernmental declarations on strategic partnership and the Indo-US Science and Technology Agreement signed in October 2005. Research and Philanthropy Program offers a unique platform to foundations, companies, individuals to build, promote and execute synergistic bilateral programs and initiatives in partnership with IUSSTF. The program is designed to bring together industry, research institutions, academia and government agencies from India and United States to create innovative, dynamic and knowledge-based economies.

Objectives of the Program

• Provide a framework for a fertile public-private partnership
• Respond to the needs of the R & D companies, foundations and individuals
• Assist industry to identify and execute corporate citizenship programs
• Provide meaningful dialogue and linkages between academia and industry
• Encourage joint R & D projects to foster long term business development
• Cultivate the spirit of innovation towards advancement of technologies
• Make profound and lasting contribution to US-India relations
